Over time, you may notice your headlights have lost their clearness and have formed a yellow layer of oxidation over the lenses. Since the 80’s, headlight lenses are made of polycarbonate plastic, a material susceptible to damage caused by prolonged exposure to UV rays. These rays caused by the sun create a yellow film of oxidation on vehicle headlights which significantly reduces nighttime vision. Our method of repair involves sanding to remove all oxidation. We then spray the lenses with an automotive grade two-part clearcoat to seal and protect the lenses.
